Terms of ServiceTerms of Service
Rules for using Bayu, including eligibility, payments, account controls, and prohibited conduct.
Eligibility and Account Accuracy
Bayu is available only to adults who are at least 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract. Users must provide accurate account, age, location, and profile information.
Bayu may require identity, age, email, payment, payout, tax, sanctions, and fraud checks before an account becomes live, sends paid message requests, or receives payouts. Accounts may be waitlisted, suspended, banned, or deleted for legal, safety, fraud, launch-area, or policy reasons.
Bayu is launching first as an Austin, Texas beta and may block or waitlist locations that require additional legal, regulatory, tax, payment, or operational review.
Paid Features
To keep Bayu safer and reduce fake accounts, all live profiles must complete identity verification and pay a one-time $5 activation fee. This fee supports identity verification and profile activation after eligibility checks. It does not create a Bayu balance, wallet, credit, stored value, or refundable deposit. Activation does not guarantee matches, messages, replies, dates, earnings, profile views, or interactions. Activation payments are generally non-refundable once identity verification is submitted or profile activation begins, except where required by law or approved for duplicate billing, technical failure, platform error, unauthorized payment, fraud, fake or underage accounts, ineligible accounts, or verification-provider error.
A $6 message request unlocks only your ability to send messages to this specific Bayu user through Bayu chat. The unlock is non-transferable, applies only to that specific recipient chat, and does not create a Bayu balance, wallet, credit, deposit, stored value, reusable message credit, subscription, or payment for any outcome. The recipient is not required to read, reply, continue messaging, meet, date, or interact with you. The recipient may become eligible for $5 after eligibility, fraud, chargeback, payout, processor, and policy review; Bayu keeps $1. Once messaging access begins, the payment is generally non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of fraud, duplicate billing, technical failure, platform error, unauthorized payment, fake or underage accounts, ineligible accounts, or banned accounts.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. The planned activation fee is $5. The planned message request price is $6 for one specific recipient chat.
A paid message request is not a payment to another user for a date, meeting, reply, romantic outcome, sexual outcome, companionship, sexual activity, or continued interaction. Replies and interactions are voluntary.
Message request access is non-transferable and one-recipient-only. It cannot be reassigned if the recipient ignores, blocks, is removed, becomes unavailable, or chooses not to continue interacting.
Recipient Earning Model
After a paid message request is completed, the recipient may become eligible for a $5 earning after platform and servicing fees are applied. Recipient earnings are not payment for a reply, read, date, meeting, romantic outcome, sexual outcome, companionship, or continued interaction, and remain subject to eligibility, fraud review, chargeback review, payout verification, processor approval, and Bayu policies.
The planned split for an eligible paid message request is $5 to the recipient and $1 retained by Bayu. Eligibility may be denied or reversed for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, fake or underage accounts, prohibited conduct, processor restrictions, sanctions screening, payout verification failure, or legal requirements.
Recipient earnings are not stored value, a wallet balance, a deposit, a cash-equivalent credit, a securities product, interest, wages, or compensation for offline conduct. Bayu may change or discontinue the earning model if required by law, risk review, payment processor requirements, or product changes.
Bad-Faith Earning and Misleading Use
Bayu is a dating platform for adults seeking genuine dating or relationship connections. Users may not create, maintain, or use an account primarily to collect recipient earnings, solicit paid message requests, mislead other users about romantic or dating interest, or otherwise use Bayu as an income-generating scheme rather than for genuine dating participation.
Bayu may review account activity for patterns suggesting bad-faith use, fraud, manipulation, coordinated activity, or abuse of the recipient earning feature. Bayu may suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse pending earnings where permitted, restrict access to features, or take other action allowed by these Terms.
This section does not require any user to read, reply, meet, date, continue a conversation, or maintain interest in another user. Users may decline, stop responding, block, or report another user at any time.
User Content and Conduct
Users are responsible for content they submit, including profile text, photos, reports, and messages. Users must have the rights needed to upload their content and grant Bayu a limited license to host, process, display, moderate, and operate that content for the service.
I confirm my profile information, age, location, intentions, and photos are accurate and belong to me. I will not impersonate anyone, misstate my age or location, use deceptive photos, or create a profile for someone else.
I have the rights and consent needed to upload these photos and profile details. They do not include minors, nudity, explicit sexual content, impersonation, deceptive AI-generated main photos, commercial solicitation, sexual services, or paid meetup offers. Profile photos may be shown to other Bayu users and stored as public Supabase Storage URLs. Bayu may host, display, process, moderate, remove, or restrict this content under its policies.
Bayu prohibits harassment, impersonation, scams, sexual services, escorting, prostitution, sugar arrangements, paid meetups, commercial solicitation, illegal activity, threats, hate, doxxing, non-consensual intimate content, attempts to bypass safety or payment systems, and off-platform payment pressure.
Fulfillment, Access, and Support
Bayu sells digital account and messaging access. There are no physical goods, shipping, or delivery services. Activation access and paid message access are provided in-app after the relevant eligibility checks and payment state transitions are complete.
Customer service is available at support@bayu.date. Users should contact support before filing a dispute so Bayu can investigate duplicate billing, technical failures, fraud, fake accounts, safety issues, or policy concerns.
Availability, Termination, and Changes
Bayu may change, suspend, or discontinue features as part of beta operations, fraud prevention, compliance, safety, or product changes.
Bayu may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create legal or safety risk, or appear fraudulent. Some records may be retained after termination under the Data Retention Policy.
Disclaimers and Liability
Bayu does not guarantee compatibility, profile visibility, matches, replies, reads, dates, meetings, relationship outcomes, earnings, payouts, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bayu is not responsible for user conduct outside the service, offline interactions, or information that users choose to share with each other.
Dispute Resolution
Before starting a formal dispute, users should contact Bayu support and give Bayu a reasonable opportunity to investigate billing, safety, privacy, account, payout, or policy issues.
Any arbitration, class-action waiver, small-claims option, governing-law term, opt-out procedure, and required notice process will be stated in Bayu's Dispute Resolution Agreement. Users should review that agreement before creating an account or making a payment.

Privacy PolicyPrivacy Policy
How Bayu collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information.
Information We Collect
Bayu collects account details, email, password hash, date of birth, city/state/country, profile details, photos, preferences, messages, reports, blocks, support requests, activation and message request records, payout status, fraud signals, audit logs, device or request metadata, and service usage data.
I understand Bayu processes sensitive dating-profile information, including age, city/state, photos, gender identity, dating preferences, messages, reports, payment activity, payout status, fraud signals, and verification status, to operate dating, discovery, safety, payments, fraud prevention, support, and compliance features.
Bayu stores references or statuses from payment, payout, and identity providers. Bayu should not store raw card numbers, bank account numbers, full SSNs, or raw identity documents in the app database.
Sensitive Information
Dating preferences, profile photos, age, identity-verification status, payment activity, location at city/state level, reports, and message moderation signals may be sensitive. Bayu uses this data only for account operation, safety, compliance, fraud prevention, payments, payouts, support, and product functionality.
Profile photos may be shown to other Bayu users and may be stored as public Supabase Storage URLs so profile and discovery surfaces can load them.
Bayu does not sell profile data, messages, precise location, identity status, or sensitive personal information. If that practice changes, this policy must be updated before the change takes effect.
How We Use Information
Bayu uses information to create accounts, verify eligibility, operate discovery and chats, process payments and payouts, enforce policies, prevent fraud, respond to reports, provide support, maintain security, comply with law, and improve reliability.
Bayu uses cookies or similar browser storage for authentication and essential operation. Bayu does not currently use nonessential advertising cookies.
How We Share Information
Bayu may share information with processors that support hosting, database, storage, payment, payout, identity verification, email, security, analytics, legal, accounting, tax, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, and customer support functions. These providers process information for Bayu or as separately disclosed in their own terms.
Bayu uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Stripe for payments and possible payout onboarding; Mailcow-compatible SMTP for transactional email; and identity-verification, fraud, security, legal, accounting, tax, and support providers as needed.
Bayu may disclose information to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce policies, complete a business transaction, or respond to valid legal process.
Privacy Rights
Depending on where a user lives, they may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or appeal certain privacy decisions. Logged-in users can submit a privacy request from Settings, and anyone can contact the privacy email.
Bayu will verify requests before acting on them. Some deletion or correction requests may be limited when retention is needed for safety, fraud prevention, payments, chargebacks, tax, accounting, legal claims, or compliance.
Security and Children
Bayu uses practical safeguards such as hashed passwords, hashed session tokens, limited server secrets, storage controls, audit logging, and access restrictions. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Bayu is not for children or teens. Users under 18 may not create accounts, and accounts suspected to belong to minors may be blocked or removed.

Data Retention PolicyData Retention Policy
How long Bayu keeps core record types and what happens after account deletion.
Retention Principles
Bayu keeps information only as long as needed for product operation, safety, fraud prevention, payments, payouts, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance, and legitimate business records.
When information is no longer needed, Bayu should delete, de-identify, aggregate, or securely archive it according to operational and legal needs.
Default Retention Schedule
Profile visibility and uploaded photos: removed from live surfaces immediately after account deletion; storage objects should be removed promptly unless needed for an active safety, fraud, or legal investigation.
Messages, reports, blocks, fraud signals, and moderation records: retained for safety and abuse-prevention review, generally up to 7 years where needed for disputes, investigations, or repeat-offender controls.
Payment, message request, earning, payout, refund, chargeback, tax, and accounting records: retained for the period required by payment processors, tax/accounting rules, dispute windows, and applicable law, generally up to 7 years.
Identity-verification records: Bayu stores provider references and status data. Raw identity documents should stay with the identity provider and follow that provider's retention controls.
Audit logs and security records: retained as needed to protect users, investigate abuse, and demonstrate compliance, generally up to 7 years.
Account Deletion
When a user deletes their account, Bayu removes profile visibility, active sessions, primary profile photo records, and active chat availability. Some records remain if needed for safety, fraud, payment, payout, dispute, tax, accounting, legal, or compliance purposes.
Users can submit a privacy deletion request if they want a deeper review of remaining retained records.
Payout TermsPayout Terms
Rules for recipient earnings, holds, fraud review, and payout eligibility.
Eligibility
After a paid message request is completed, the recipient may become eligible for a $5 earning after platform and servicing fees are applied. Recipient earnings are not payment for a reply, read, date, meeting, romantic outcome, sexual outcome, companionship, or continued interaction, and remain subject to eligibility, fraud review, chargeback review, payout verification, processor approval, and Bayu policies.
Recipient earnings are not guaranteed. A recipient may become eligible for the recipient portion of a paid chat only when the account, payment, disclosure, fraud, chargeback, legal, and payout requirements are satisfied.
Payouts may require identity, tax, bank, and sanctions screening through Bayu or its payment/payout processors. Stripe or another processor may require separate approval before recipient payouts are available.
Holds and Reversals
Earnings may be held, delayed, reversed, canceled, or forfeited for chargebacks, refunds, fraud, fake accounts, underage accounts, prohibited conduct, policy violations, or legal requirements.
Bayu's default fraud and chargeback hold is 14 days unless changed by policy, processor rules, or risk review.
No Payment for Offline Conduct
Recipient earnings are connected only to Bayu's paid messaging product and Bayu's internal eligibility rules. They are not payment for replying, reading, dating, meeting, companionship, romantic activity, sexual activity, or any offline conduct.
Users may not request, offer, or imply additional payment for replies, dates, meetings, sexual activity, companionship, travel, allowances, paid meetups, or off-platform arrangements.
Users may not use Bayu primarily to collect recipient earnings, create false dating interest to encourage paid message requests, coordinate paid message requests for payout abuse, or otherwise manipulate the earning model. Bayu may hold, reverse, cancel, or forfeit earnings connected to this conduct where permitted.
Moderation and Enforcement PolicyModeration and Enforcement Policy
How Bayu may review reports, content, messages, fraud signals, earnings, and accounts.
Monitoring and Review
I understand Bayu may use automated tools and human review for messages, photos, reports, fraud prevention, safety, and policy enforcement. I will not send harassment, threats, scams, sexual services, paid meetup offers, non-consensual intimate content, illegal content, or off-platform payment pressure. Replies are voluntary.
Bayu may review reports, profiles, photos, messages, attachments, payment records, payout records, fraud signals, audit logs, and account activity to enforce policies and protect users.
Possible Actions
Bayu may warn users, remove content, limit features, hold earnings, reverse earnings, close chats, suspend accounts, ban accounts, preserve records, or refer issues to processors, law enforcement, or legal advisors when appropriate.
Users may contact support to appeal moderation or enforcement decisions. Bayu may retain records needed for safety, fraud prevention, payment disputes, payout disputes, tax, accounting, legal, audit, or compliance reasons.
Law Enforcement GuidelinesLaw Enforcement Guidelines
Request intake, emergency disclosure, preservation, user notice, child-safety, and international request guidance for law enforcement.
Scope and Intake
Bayu reviews official law enforcement requests for user information, emergency disclosure, and preservation under applicable law, user safety needs, and Bayu policy. Last updated July 21, 2026.
Routine requests should be sent from an official government email address to legal@bayu.date. Email intake does not waive Bayu's right to require proper service, object, or ask for narrowing.
Bayu is not emergency dispatch. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Officers handling an emergency disclosure request should use an emergency subject line and include the facts supporting imminent danger.
What to Include
Requests should identify the agency, officer or authorized official, badge or employee number, phone number, government email, jurisdiction, case number, alleged offense or emergency facts, legal authority, requested response deadline, and whether user notice is prohibited.
Requests should identify the Bayu account or records as specifically as possible, such as account email, profile URL, user ID, chat ID, payment reference, approximate dates, phone number, or known IP address.
Non-emergency disclosure requests should attach signed legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, warrant, user consent, or other valid legal authority.
Legal Process and Emergency Requests
Bayu generally requires a subpoena, court order, warrant, user consent, or other valid legal authority before disclosing non-content account records to law enforcement.
Bayu generally requires a search warrant or other legal process sufficient under applicable law before disclosing stored message content, profile photos, chat attachments, or other content.
Bayu may disclose limited information without ordinary legal process when Bayu has a good-faith belief that an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury requires disclosure without delay.
Preservation
Bayu will preserve records in its possession for 90 days after a valid governmental preservation request, and may extend preservation for up to an additional 90 days after a renewed request.
Preservation keeps existing records; it does not itself authorize disclosure or require Bayu to create prospective monitoring, wiretap assistance, or new collection outside what valid legal process requires and what Bayu can technically perform.
Records Bayu May or May Not Have
Bayu may have account identifiers, email address, account status, profile fields, age-gate and verification status, city or state information, profile photos, messages, chat attachments, chat IDs, blocks, reports, moderation records, safety-review notes, payment records, payout records, fraud signals, audit logs, session activity, IP address records, device or request metadata, and support or legal-request correspondence where retained.
Bayu does not store raw card numbers, bank account numbers, full SSNs, or raw identity documents in the application database.
Payment, payout, authentication, storage, email, hosting, and identity-verification providers may control some records independently from Bayu.
User Notice, Child Safety, and International Requests
Bayu may notify affected users about legal requests unless prohibited by law, court order, emergency circumstances, safety risk, fraud risk, or another lawful basis for delay. Requests to delay notice should cite the applicable legal authority and include the requested delay period.
Bayu is for adults 18+ only and bans underage accounts, child exploitation, trafficking, sexual services, and non-consensual intimate content. When Bayu obtains actual knowledge of apparent child sexual exploitation material or related exploitation, Bayu reports to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required.
Non-U.S. law enforcement should use U.S. legal process, mutual legal assistance, an applicable executive agreement, or another lawful channel. Emergency requests from non-U.S. officials should include the same detail required for U.S. emergency requests.
Important Limits
These guidelines are informational and do not create enforceable rights, waive objections, guarantee disclosure, or substitute for valid legal process. Bayu may update this protocol as the service, law, safety practices, or payment processor requirements change.
User support, civil discovery, privacy requests, and complaints should use the contact page, privacy request page, or support@bayu.date.
